Inspired by his late mother’s handwritten journals and Psalm 118:24, the heartfelt worship single arrives November 6th, offering a deeply personal expression of faith, remembrance, and the beauty of everyday blessings.

PHILADELPHIA, PA/MELBOURNE, FL — October 13, 2026 — Acclaimed Christian singer-songwriter and worship artist Eddy Mann will release his deeply personal new single, “Thank You Lord,” on Friday, November 6, 2026. Inspired by the handwritten journals of his late mother and the timeless message of Psalm 118:24, the contemplative worship song transforms a family’s treasured memories into a universal expression of gratitude, grace, and spiritual connection.
The single is the first release from Mann’s forthcoming album, Dreaming with God, scheduled for September 2027. Blending contemporary Christian music, contemplative worship, gospel, and subtle country influences, “Thank You Lord” invites listeners to find the extraordinary within the ordinary moments of everyday life.

But the song’s beginnings are rooted in something far more intimate than a traditional songwriting session.
Over the past year, Mann has been revisiting his mother’s personal journals, reading through her daily reflections, prayers, and observations one entry at a time. Among those treasured pages were writings from the summer of 2009, four years before her passing. What he discovered was not simply a collection of memories, but a distinctive spiritual voice that would eventually become the foundation for a new musical journey.
“We are all unique in the way we walk with God,” Mann explains. “Our conversations with Him reflect that individuality, right down to the way we speak. We each communicate in our own voice, using our own vocabulary. And He delights in our heartfelt, honest worship and praise.”
For Mann, it was his mother’s particular way of communicating with God that sparked the creative process. Her phrasing, grammatical choices, and simple expressions of devotion began suggesting melodies almost immediately.
“Her distinctive choice of words, the way she expressed her recollections and prayers, seemed to leap off the pages and into my creative consciousness,” he recalls.
As he began exploring those words musically, the composition took shape organically. Rather than approaching the material with a rigid arrangement or predetermined production style, Mann allowed the language itself to guide the melodies, rhythms, and harmonies.
The result is a worship experience that emphasizes sincerity over spectacle.
Built around a recurring prayer of thanksgiving, “Thank You Lord” acknowledges the blessings, wonders, grace, favor, and mercy found in each passing day. Its central refrain, “Keep us in Your loving care,” offers a simple but powerful reminder of the peace.
