Underground indie artist set to make waves in the music industry, Stereo Roux, will release his third self-produced single, Run for Your Life this April 1st, 2022. The fashion-forward artist is set to make his imprint on the industry in more ways than one.
“Through the production and recording process, I pictured a protest that begins peacefully and morphs into something more powerful,” said Stereo Roux. “I represented that by the compelling change in tempo, from a deliberately soothing plea to a more demanding tone. This is a protest against the current institution that keeps our modern society from progressing keeping us tied to ingrained views and standards.”
Stuck in the 70s, Stereo Roux’s vision for his music takes him back to a time he was not even around to experience. The twenty-something musician channels his views on today’s society into emotion-evoking, layered songs in his signature vintage style. Often outfitted in collector’s timepieces, fashion-forward Stereo Roux also sets to make his mark by bringing progressive ideas to our cyclical society.
“The goal is always to have listeners engulfed in the musical world, through lyrical vulnerability and a progressive sound,” said Stereo Roux.
The bilingual artist has also created a Spanish language hit, Los Extraterrestres, inspired by the “haze-y feeling of loneliness and isolation. In a raw and honest way, describing the way our mind travels to creative scenarios made up by a lonely brain”. Run for Your Life joins another single recently released by Stereo Roux: ‘my head hurts and I hate you,’ which has quickly become a listener favorite.
