Reuben Brock Releases ‘Black Horse Through Hell’ Country Music Single

Reuben Brock’s new country single “Black Horse Through Hell” dropped today. Blending traditional instruments with a modern country vibe, the song is a story of escaping a relationship gone wrong.

“This song was written during the pandemic” says Reuben Brock, “and it’s darker than most of the other songs on previous albums”.

This is the second release from the upcoming album DAMAGE, as an Indie production being finalized for a fall release.

Reuben Brock is an American country, alt.country / Americana recording artist and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. He grew up in the western United States predominately in Colorado, Texas and Iowa. He has worked on numerous album projects and music cues for video, radio, education and business.

He has toured with various country artists throughout the United States and Canada as a keyboard player and guitarist. His songs range from the darker side of life and relationships to a lighter side of country, alt-country and Americana music.

Reuben Brock is following his other two albums (“400 Horses” and “Time And Whiskey”) with the upcoming album release “DAMAGE”. The first single release was “Nail And Hammer”, a song about a relationship and the regret after a fight.

“I’m at a loss for words. I mean that literally. I cannot find a word in the English language that means “more than talented.” … Reuben Brock has the enviable ability to breathe new life into the stalest of country clichés.” ~ Underground Nashville
