Here’s a taste: “California’s most critical critic, your crusty chronicler’s fifteen year-old son William Jared James Phoenix, says that Josey Milner’s new single “Not Pretty Enough” is “swag”. Translated from pubescent parlance this means . . . well, it’s like, ya know, a good thing. Apparently, Milner’s self conscious song is considered successful because among other things the song—like so many out there these days—isn’t about some girl “in heat”.
