Weekly Recap And This Week’s MTS Artist Appearances 3/31/12

Here we are again, with another look back at this past week’s happenings in MTS land. We’ll also give you a look forward at what’s coming up this next week for our clients. It’s been busy around here, and we LOVE it that way!

Doug Briney, our resident Alaskan Cowboy had another great week: his single, “More Than Just a Farm” moved up on the CMG Radio Chart, from #23 to #20; it remained on the Independent Music Network Country chart at #26; it climbed into the Top 100 of the Real Country (NMW reporting station) playlist; and the video logged in another week at the top of the OnlyLyrics.com Music Video Chart. Not bad for a debut single, so far… Doug also recorded an interview for Gemrico radio and a station id for Indie Artist Radio. Be sure to tune in to those stations suppporting Doug and his music! On tap for this coming week, Doug will be interviewed on Toxic Radio, this Tuesday at 11:30PM ET. For more info, please visit www.dougbriney.com.

Metal shredder, Xander Demos had another big week at radio this week. His single, “White Knuckle Driving” was picked by a Brazilian FM radio station, and promoter, Cameron Tilbury, was on Siren FM in the UK to talk specifically about the track. By the way, the radio hosts gave it a thumbs up! WKD was also picked up by several US outlets, including Metal Babe Mayhem internet radio and WVOX Radio in Westchester County, NY. His album continues to receive tons of praise from the fans, and is now available through Loudtrax.com, a metal online distribution channel affiliated with Bravewords.com. Coming up this week: Xander will be opening for Buckethead at the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, April 6th. Tickets are still available (not many) at www.steelcityguitar.com.

Bryan Cole, the “voice” of country music, has been tearing up the radio airplay charts and this week was no exception. Bryan and his single “Love Doesn’t Live Here” leaped 12 spots on the Music Row Breakout Chart from #134 to #122! The track is also at #38 on the New Music Weekly Chart. Bryan continued work on this new EP, “Pride” and was joined in the studio by MTS owner, Michael Stover to complete drum editing duties. Bryan also recorded a station id liner for Indie Artist Radio, so please support that station! He capped off a busy week with a live performance in Latrobe, PA. Coming up this week: Bryan has 2 interviews scheduled. Sunday evening at 7pm ET, Bryan will be on Knight Rider Radio, listening to and discussing tracks from his last CD, “Wide Open Road” as well as his last two singles. On Wednesday, he will be on Toxic Radio, beginning at 10pm ET. For more information, visit www.bryancolemusic.com.
