The internationally syndicated Whiskey and Cigarettes Show will premiere an exclusive interview with award-winning Texas country singer-songwriter Elle Townley on Sunday, September 6th, 2026. During the broadcast, Townley will join award-winning host Nik Bernitz Pizzigoni to discuss her fast-rising career, her evolution as a songwriter, and her empowering new single, “You’re Not Enough.”
Listeners can tune in live via Military Brotherhood Radio, with the program syndicated to more than 40 stations worldwide. The episode will also be available on demand through Apple Music, SoundCloud, and the Whiskey and Cigarettes Show website.
Hailing from Georgetown, Texas, Elle Townley recently celebrated her 18th birthday while entering an exciting new chapter in her rapidly growing career. Her self-written single, “You’re Not Enough,” produced by Oliver Ocean at Orb Recording Studios, turns romantic disappointment into an empowering declaration of self-worth. Inspired by being told she was “too much,” Townley transformed the slight into the song’s defining message: “If I’m too much, you’re not enough.” That confidence has helped earn her major recognition, including the 2025 Texas Country Music Association Young Artist of the Year award, runner-up honors in the Texas State Songwriter’s Association Female Songwriter Championship, and multiple 2026 Josie Music Awards nominations.

Townley’s accomplishments also include winning the 2021 Old Settler’s Music Festival Youth Talent Competition and becoming a Top Five finalist in the Houston Rodeo Rockstar competition. She has appeared on The Heartland Network, WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, CBS Austin, FOX 7 Austin, Austin Woman, and other media outlets, while continuing to build her reputation onstage, including a recent opening appearance for Bri Bagwell. Blending classic country roots with a contemporary edge, Townley is now working toward her anticipated 2027 debut album, with songs including “Taking Off My Halo,” “Perfect Christmas,” and “You’re Not Enough” establishing her as a young songwriter unafraid to turn real-life experiences into honest, relatable country music.
During her exclusive Whiskey and Cigarettes appearance, Townley will discuss the real-life story behind “You’re Not Enough,” the lessons she has learned while growing up in the Texas country music scene, her recent awards and nominations, and what listeners can expect as she begins the next phase of her career.
