The internationally syndicated Whiskey and Cigarettes Show will air an exclusive interview with Featured Artist Andrea Guess on Sunday, August 9th. During the broadcast, Guess will join host Nik Bernitz Pizzigoni to discuss her remarkable musical journey, her transition from radio to full-time performing artist, and her debut single, “Why Now.”

Listeners can tune in live via Military Brotherhood Radio (mbradio.us), with the show syndicated to more than 40 stations worldwide. The episode will also be available for on-demand streaming through Apple Music, SoundCloud, and at www.whiskeyandcigarettesshow.com.

A native of Brownsville, Kentucky, Andrea Guess has been immersed in music since childhood, learning to sing, write songs, and play instruments alongside her mother. By the time she was in high school, she had signed with the independent label 1030 Records and recorded her debut album, Mama Raised Me Right, performing many of the instrumental parts herself. Her talents as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist soon led to performances throughout Kentucky and opening slots for artists ranging from Jeff Bates to Ted Nugent. After earning a degree in broadcasting from Western Kentucky University, she built a successful career in radio, where listeners came to know her as on-air personality Gracie McGee.

In 2018, Guess left broadcasting behind to pursue music full time, performing more than 230 shows during her first year on the road. Today, she is a familiar face on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, where she continues to share the stage with artists including Chely Wright, Ty Herndon, Shelly Fairchild, Janelle Arthur, and Ashley McBryde. Blending deeply personal songwriting with the timeless spirit of artists such as Carole King, Guess entered a new chapter in 2024 through a partnership with CCB Nashville and producer Kimo Forrest, culminating in the release of her debut single, “Why Now.”

During her appearance on Whiskey and Cigarettes, Guess will share stories from her years in radio, discuss her life as a full-time performer, and offer listeners an inside look at the experiences that continue to shape her music. https://andreaguessmusic.com/
