Born in upstate New York and raised largely in Georgia, Lizzy Beth Goldman began singing and playing piano at age five with encouragement from her musical grandmother. Influenced by classic artists such as Patsy Cline, Barbara Mandrell, and Olivia Newton-John, she found her voice singing in church at 14 and went on to spend more than 30 years as a worship leader and soloist at services, conferences, and special events. Alongside music, Goldman earned a Middle Grades Education degree from Kennesaw State University and devoted nearly two decades to teaching and tutoring, while life experiences—from riding horses to living on an Amish farm in western Kentucky—ultimately drew her closer to Nashville. She now resides in Tennessee, fully embracing her long-awaited country music path.
Goldman has released three singles to radio, including a cover of “Faded Love” and originals “Red Red Wine” and “Who’s Between You and Me,” and she currently hosts the growing podcast Nashville Backroads, spotlighting indie artists and their stories each week on more than a dozen radio stations worldwide. Grounded by an unshakable faith, she credits God with carrying her through profound personal loss and inspiring the music she continues to write and share—an honesty and independence reflected in her latest single, “Nobody’s Mama.”
