BARRIE, ONTARIO, CA – July 8, 2025 – Canadian award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and activist Ed Roman has released the official music video for his spiritually charged and philosophically expansive single, “I Found God,” from his critically acclaimed album Letters From High Latitudes (MTS Records). The track and its newly animated visual arrive not as a sermon, but as a soul-stirring call for reflection, connection, and reverence—for the earth beneath our feet.
Produced in collaboration with the imaginative illustrator Paul Ribera of Raincloud Stories, the video for “I Found God” is a visually arresting meditation on existence, empathy, and environmental truth. With surreal, hand-drawn symbolism and intuitive pacing, Ribera’s illustrations bring Roman’s lyrics to life—echoing the artist’s belief that “God” is not an external deity to be sought in the heavens, but the living, breathing ecosystem we too often overlook.
The song was recorded at Phase One Studios and mixed/mastered by Michael Jack at The Radio Room in Barrie, Ontario. Featuring contributions from Canadian talents Mike Freedman (guitar) and Dave Patel (drums), the track’s genre-defying sound blends folk-rock soul with philosophical grit.
A self-proclaimed pantheist, Roman’s music often strays from convention to explore deeper truths. “This song,” Roman explains, “isn’t about condemnation or conversion—it’s about humility. About seeing beauty, strength, and complexity in every leaf, every drop of water, every animal that walks this Earth.”
Paul Ribera, known for his emotionally charged, layered artistic style, shared this perspective on the video’s creation:
