Erie, PA / Pittsburgh, PA — February 26, 2026 – American rock and roll band Noble Hops have officially released the new music video for their 2025 single, “Kelso Beach,” offering fans an intimate and visually stunning companion to one of the band’s most personal songs to date. Released via Shady Lady Records, “Kelso Beach” is a deeply reflective track written by lead singer, Utah Burgess during a fierce February snow and ice storm in a cottage along the shores of Kelso Beach in Erie, Pennsylvania. Now, with the arrival of the official video, Burgess invites listeners directly into the landscape — and the solitude — that gave birth to the song.
“I created the video using footage I and others filmed at Kelso Beach, plus some stock footage,” says Burgess. “I think the video really captures the quaintness, solitude and beauty of Kelso Beach in Erie, PA — the location where the song was written during a stormy February, and where the song’s namesake comes from. Some of the footage is taken from the very doorstep of where I wrote the song.”
Blending raw shoreline imagery, sweeping lake views, and atmospheric visuals, the video reflects the introspective tone of the single. It serves as both a love letter to place and a meditation on gratitude and personal connection. “I consider myself very fortunate and am grateful for all that I have in my life, especially my relationships,” Burgess previously shared about the song. “I guess this is me expressing that in my own way.”
Of course, no Noble Hops video would be complete without a bit of rock and roll swagger. “We had to add a rock star — so enter our guitar player, Tony Villella, for that segment! LOL,” Burgess adds. The performance footage injects energy and grit into the otherwise serene setting, balancing solitude with the band’s signature American rock edge.
“Kelso Beach” was recorded at Rattle Clack Studio in Pittsburgh, PA, with studio owner Jazz Byers serving as both engineer and producer. Byers helped elevate the track’s emotional core, layering organ, keyboards, acoustic guitar, and percussion to expand its sonic depth. “We asked Jazz to serve as a producer along with his engineering responsibilities, which really helped add different dimensions and layers to what otherwise is a fairly simple song,” Burgess explains. The track was mixed and mastered by Mike Ofca.
“Kelso Beach” features:
Utah Burgess – Vocals and Electric Rhythm Guitar
Tony Villella – Electric Rhythm and Lead Guitar
Johnny “Sleeves” Costa – Bass Guitar
“The” Brad Hulburt – Drums
Jazz Byers – Organ, Keyboards, Acoustic Guitar, Percussion
With this new video, Noble Hops further cement their ability to turn deeply personal moments into resonant rock storytelling — proving that sometimes the most powerful songs are born in solitude, on a frozen shoreline, in the middle of a storm.
