Doug Briney To Perform At Van Zant “Hope For Freedom” Benefit; Extends Operation Troop Aid Campaign

hope for freedomMTS Management Group is happy to announce Doug Briney will be performing at the Jimmie Van Zant “Hope For Freedom” Benefit Concert, to be held September 19-20, 2014 at the Noccalula Falls Campground Stage, 1600 Noccalula Rd. in Gadsden, Alabama. Doug will perform at 3:10pm on Saturday, September 20th.   The concert will benefit the South-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund.  Advance tickets are available for $14 per day at

Country singer/songwriter, Jimmie Van Zant was diagnosed with liver cancer, and is in need of a life-saving liver transplant.  He is the cousin of legendary Van Zant brothers, Ronnie andJohnnie Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Donnie Van Zant (.38 Special.) On Memorial Day, Doug Briney announced that he would be donating 100% of his profits from the sale of his single, “Unknown Soldier” to Operation Troop Aid, ending on Labor Day.  Doug has now announced, he will be extending his campaign, through Veterans Day, November 11, 2014.  You can hear “Unknown Soldier” at and then, download it on itunes, amazon, and all digital retail outlets.
