Weekly Recap and Upcoming MTS Artist Appearances W/E 7/7/12

I can’t believe it’s already time for another edition of our weekly recap. This week absolutely FLEW by, but you know what they say…time flies when your kickin’ butt and takin’ names. LOL. So, here’s a quick look back at the week that was for our artists, and we’ll give you a sneak peek at what’s coming up…

Xander Demos kicked off last week with the announcement of his “Get My Guitarcadia Graphics On” contest. We’re looking for the best original album artwork submissions, one of which will be chosen for the re-release of Xander’s “Guitarcadia” album on Rock ‘N’ Growl Records. Send them to michael@mtsmanagementgroup.com by 7/16. For more information, see the story at https://www.mtsmanagementgroup.com/newspost/xander-demos-get-my-guitarcadia-graphics-on-contest/. The following day saw Firebrand Rock Radio air their exclusive interview with Xander, that had been taped last week. On Independence Day, Xander treated his fans to not one, but two new performance videos: One for the “Star Spangled Banner” and one for “White Knuckle Driving.” The latter already has close to 400 views! On Saturday, Xander was the guest on Music Speaks with Kat Pat, as well as being featured in an article on Examiner.com, written by Will Phoenix. What’s coming up this week? On Thursday, Xander will be taping an interview with Brian “The Fishman” from Heavy Metal Happy Hour. We’ll let you know when it airs. Then, on Saturday, Xander returns to the live stage at Gigaroo, a two day festival at Iselin Ballfield in Saltsburg, PA. Xander begins at 6pm. Don’t miss it!

Doug Briney began the week with the news of “More Than Just a Farm” climbing to #11 on the fan-voted country chart at www.independentmusicnetwork.com. You can cast your vote for him again for next week’s chart, which comes out on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Doug learned that his follow-up “It’s All Country,” which won’t be officially released until July 23rd, continued its climb on the CMG Radio chart, to #27. Doug was also listed as their #10 International artist of the week. On Tuesday, Doug sang the national anthem at the Anchorage Bucs game, and according to all reports, he nailed it! See and hear for yourself! On Thursday, Doug was a guest on “Let ‘er Rip” with Mike Bradford on NBRN.FM. It was a great interview…thanks for all the plugs Mike and Doug! On Friday, PowerSource Magazine published a great new review for Doug’s “It’s All Country” CD. The positive reviews just keep on coming…congrats, Doug! On Friday, he wrapped up the week with another incredible performance at Lone Star Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK. What’s up for this week? Doug will be joining Kat Pat on Music Speaks today at 4pm ET. Check Doug’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dougbriney for information. On Thursday, Doug will tape an interview with popular radio show, Chattin’ In Manhattan, and on Friday, he will be a guest on the Apple Capital Show. We’ll let you know more information on airing dates and times.

There you have it! It was really an awesome week. On another note, I’m so excited about some of the talented artists that I’ve had the opportunity to listen to the past few days. I’m hoping to get a couple of them on board very soon. If you’d like to discuss working together, please contact me at michael@mtsmanagementgroup.com. Have a super week!
