Weekly Recap And Upcoming MTS Artist Appearances W/E 7/14/12

Here we are again with another look back at the week that was here at MTS Management Group. It’s been an awesome week, and things are winding down here on Sunday evening, so I’ll make this short and sweet…

Doug Briney is getting geared up for his “Let’s Get Ridin’ Motorcycle Tour,” which kicks off one week from tonight. This past week, Doug was a guest on Music Speaks with Kat Pat on Sunday. She also featured Doug’s CD and played it in it’s entirety later in the week. Doug’s interview episode is available on demand at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/katpat/2012/07/08/country-superstar-doug-briney. Doug’s single “More Than Just a Farm” came in at #19 on the country chart of the fan-voting based Independent Music Network. Cast your vote for Doug at www.independentmusicnetwork.com. Let’s help him get to the Top 10. The follow up, “It’s All Country,” which is scheduled for a 7/23 release, is already climbing the CMG Radio Network chart, coming in this week at #24. Doug was also named their #9 International artist this week. On Friday, Doug taped an interview with the Apple Capital Group’s Core Business Show. The show, hosted by Tim Jacquet is available for streaming at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/applecapitalgroup/2012/07/13/interview-with-country-artist-and-cowboy-pastor-doug-briney. What’s happening this coming week? Doug has already had a busy start to the week, performing 2 shows today–one at Bear Paws Festival in Eagle River, AK and one at Anchorage Markets, downtown Anchorage. On Monday, Doug will tape an interview with Chattin’ in Manhattan for a later air date. On Tuesday, Doug will be LIVE on RokOutRadio at 9pm ET. Friday, Doug will revisit with Annie and the gang on Southern Sense at 2pm ET. This will be a special kick-off show for his tour, which begins next Sunday.

Xander Demos continued preparation for the re-release of his album, Guitarcadia. On Wednesday, a brand new interview was posted by Hard City Magazine. On Saturday, Xander rocked the house at Gigaroo in Saltsburg, PA. From what we hear, it was an awesome crowd and an amazing performance. This coming Monday, we will announce the winner of the Guitarcadia Artwork contest. Any last minute entries can be sent to me at michael@mtsmanagementgroup.com no later than 12am Midnight tonight.

We’ve also got some more great Xander Demos news that we can’t share til tomorrow, but here’s a hint…endorsement deal! Until then, have a great night…Want to join the great artist roster here at MTS Management Group, or book one of our artist for a show or guest appearance?
