Weekly Recap And Upcoming MTS Artist Appearances WE 6/23/12

Sorry this is coming out so late, but this past week was one of our BUSIEST to date. So, I’m not going to waste anymore time…let’s take a look back at the week that was here at MTS Management Group and a look ahead to this week’s appearances…

Doug Briney kicked off the week on Monday, with a 90 minute interview with Annie and Mike on Southern Sense. The appearance was earmarked as one of Blog Talk Radio’s “Spotlight” shows for the day. The program was so successful, that Southern Sense immediately booked Doug for another appearance next month, right before his “Let’s Get Ridin'” Motorcycle Tour begins. On Wednesday, Doug was interviewed on Outlaw Music Radio with Mitch Walker. Doug’s single, “More Than Just a Farm” received a wonderful review by Scott Sexton of Today’s Country Magazine, while the follow up, “It’s All Country” continued its climb on the CMG Radio Network Chart, at #32. Speaking of CMG, Doug was listed as their #11 international artist of the week–his highest mark. On Friday, Doug was featured in an article on Examiner.com, written by Will Phoenix. Doug rounded out the week with a live performance at Lone Star Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK. What’s up for this week? Doug already performed at the Anchorage Markets on Sunday afternoon. On Wednesday, Doug will be performing his 2nd Stageit.com show LIVE from his home. Just a handful of tickets are left for this online chat and music event. Doug’s music has been added to two more stations already this week, and he will be interviewed by Big Joe Matthews on Rooster’s Chicken Shack show on Thursday.

Before we get to Xander Demos, I wanted to mention that “Love Doesn’t Live Here,” the song I penned for Bryan Cole, climbed to #13 New Music Weekly and #6 Roots Music Report this week.

Xander Demos had several impressive reviews and interviews this week. On Wednesday, Xander was a guest on RokoutRadio with Lady Spitfire. Then, stellar reviews from Hard City Magazine, Flight of Pegasus, and Roman Midnight Music came in mid-week. Xander was featured in Rock Show Magazine this week, and his interview with Dj Synderela from Metal Messiah Radio aired on Saturday. I was in the chat room for that one, and there was some incredible feedback. Thanks to DJ Syn for making me feel at home…I’ll be back! Several new radio stations added Xander’s music to their playlists, too. This week, Xander will be on RCWR Radio Show on Tuesday at 11pm ET. Be sure to tune in for that one!
