Weekly Recap And Upcoming MTS Artist Appearances 6/10/12

Hey Everyone, it’s been a crazy-busy week here at MTS! So, without any further to-do, let’s take a look back at the week that was, and get a sneak peak at what’s coming up this week…

Doug Briney kicked the week off with an appearance on Conversations Live with Curtis Webb on Monday. On Tuesday, Doug announced his “Let’s Get Ridin'” west coast motorcycle tour. That trek from Alaska to California, via motorcycle, will begin at the end of July and last several weeks, with impromptu concert stops along the way. Country Entertainment USA gave Doug a 4 star review this week, calling his vocals “passionate.” The Alaskan Cowboy continued his chart success, climbing to #10 on the Independent Music Network’s country chart with “More Than Just a Farm.” Please vote for Doug HERE. His track, “It’s All Country” is currently following in the footsteps of Doug’s former #1 CMG track, by climbing to #38 on their Top 100 chart. He was also listed at #16 on their Top 200 International Artist chart. Finally, Doug rounded out the week with another one of his popular Friday night shows at Lone Star Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK. What’s happening this week? Doug has been named the Spotlight Artist of the Week on American Veterans Radio. This honor coincides with Doug’s special online concert benefitting wounded veterans. That Stageit.com event takes place Tuesday evening at 11:55pm ET. Get your tickets HERE. Not only is it for a great cause, but Doug has some special offers for all ticket buyers. There are less than 10 of these left, so please get yours today. Doug will also be back at Lone Star on Friday.

Xander Demos had another great week, starting with his interview on Bleach Bangs Radio. That was followed by a stellar review for “Guitarcadia” from Scott Thomas of Guitarz Forever, who called the album “Epic.” On Friday, Xander appeared on Warrior Rock Radio with Ryan Harmon. “White Knuckle Driving” continues to tear up the radio waves in Europe, Australia and South America, as well as here in the states. Thanks to Cameron Tilbury for handling the international campaign. This week: On Tuesday, Xander will be interviewed by Metal Assault, one of the top metal sites. He will also be appearing on Fallen Rock Zone, with Sherry Thomas on Wednesday at 7pm ET.

Finally, just a quick update on “Love Doesn’t Live Here:” The song held steady at #14 New Music Weekly and it climbed to #5 on the Roots Music Report! Thanks for all of your radio requests.

We’ll be back with another recap next week, and of course, all the latest news in MTS land as we get it!
