Weekly Recap And Upcoming Artist Appearances 6/18/12

What a week it was, here at MTS Management Group! Our artists were featured in print, radio and internet this week, with articles and reviews popping up all over. Let’s take a quick look back at last week’s happenings, as well as a look forward to what’s coming this week…

Country artist, Doug Briney kicked off the week as the Spotlight Artist on American Veterans Radio, a wonderful station dedicated to our military. This was perfect timing, as Doug performed his Stageit.com concert for wounded veterans on Tuesday. I tuned in for the show, and man, Doug didn’t disappoint! He sang lot of songs dedicated to our heroes, as well as his hit, “More Than Just a Farm.” In fact, the show was so successful, that another one has been scheduled for June 27th. This time, Doug will be performing from his home, and he’ll be chatting live during the show. He’s only offering 10 tickets, to ensure an intimate conversation, and you can get yours at http://www.stageit.com/doug_briney/show_from_home/10945. Doug’s music continued to perform well on the country charts this week, as “More Than Just a Farm” was voted as the #18 song on the fan-voting indie chart from the Independent Music Network. His track, “It’s All Country” climbed 3 spots on the CMG Radio Network chart to #35, and Doug was the #14 artist on their Top 200 International Artist chart! We also heard that he showed up in Christian/Country publication, Powersource Magazine. We will have more on that story soon. Finally, Doug wrapped up the week with 2 performances at Rodeo Alaska, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. So, what’s up for Doug this week? Well, for starters, he has 3 interviews scheduled over the next couple of days. On Tuesday at 2PM ET, Doug will be on Southern Sense, a conservative internet talk show. He will also be appearing on KXBG, with Ralph Watley at 7PM ET. On Wednesday, Doug will be appearing on Outlaw Country at 7pm ET. On Friday, he returns to Lone Star Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK, and on Sunday, Doug will be performing at the Anchorage Markets. If you get a chance, check out one of his amazing shows!

Xander Demos received another stellar review of his Guitarcadia CD, and he was also a guest on a hot, new radio show. Glitter2Gutter’s Arttie the 1 man Party posted a glowing review of Xander’s album, saying that he had “talent bleeding out of his hands.” On Wednesday, Xander appeared on the Fallen Rock Zone, a new radio program dedicated to great rock music and artists. International radio is also continuing its support Xander’s single, “White Knuckle Driving.” What’s up for Xander this week? On Tuesday, he will be a guest on RokOutRadio at 9pm ET, and on Wednesday, he will be interviewed on KXBG with Ralph Watley. Xander will round out the week with appearances on Southern Sense on Friday at 2pm ET and on Metal Messiah Radio this Saturday between 11am-2pm ET. Don’t miss these!

Lastly, “Love Doesn’t Live Here” remained at #14 on the New Music Weekly chart for the 3rd week in a row…let’s see if it will make the Top 10 this week.
