Final ballot nominees are selected based upon a combination of public votes, member votes and judges votes. Judges include industry veteran DJs, A&R Reps, producers and more. The Top 5 Nominees will be announced at a special live event on January 10, 2015, with the winners being announced at a March 7, 2015 awards ceremony in Los Angeles, CA. Past winners include Tyler Matl, Glitter Rose, and McKenna Loren.
The Founder of the Artists In Music Awards is Award winning Executive Producer, Mikey Jayy. Mikey is also the Vice President of the Siqueiros Foundation of the Arts, a member of National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS), endorsed by the St. Jude Children Research Hospital, Hollywood Arts Council, Los Angeles Music Awards, the Peoples Mayor of Hollywood, L.A.A.C.i. Doug Briney is a 2013 Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) Award Winner, a 2014 ICoMA Award Nominee, and a 2014 Nashville Universe Award Nominee. His debut album, It’s All Country spent 8 consecutive months on the roots airplay charts, and it reached #11 on the itunes New Country Releases chart. The follow up, Super Country Cowboy reached #58 on the itunes Inspirational chart.
Whiskey And Cigarettes Radio Show is a weekly show, originating in Milan, Italy, hosted by the “Romeo of the Rodeo” Nashville Universe Awards Winner and Independent Country Music Association nominee, Nik Pizzigoni. The show features a unique blend of classic, current and indie country, trivia, contests, artist spotlights and interviews and Nik’s European charm.
