Xander Demos Concert Announcement

MTS Management is happy to announce that Xander Demos will be opening for power/symphonic/progressive metal kings, Kamelot.  The show will take place on Saturday, September 22nd at Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, PA.  Tickets for the 8:30pm show will be $25 in advance at www.steelcityguitar.com and $30 at the door.  For more information, please visit Drusky Entertainment’s website at www.druskyentertainment.com.

This show with Kamelot is the latest of a succession of dates where Xander has opened for other metal artists. He recently opened for Dio Disciples, Buckethead, and this Saturday, Xander will open for Adrenaline Mob. In September, just 10 days prior to the Kamelot date, Xander will share the stage with Symphony X. “We’re incredibly happy to have Xander on the Kamelot show. It makes perfect sense, because of his over-the-top, power-metal style. I think that fans of theirs will be blown away by Xander’s playing,” says Michael Stover, MTS Management Group.

Kamelot

Xander Demos is a Pittsburgh-based, metal shred guitarist, who recently released his debut full-length CD, Guitarcadia. The Cj Snare (Firehouse) mixed album is receiving international airplay with the single, “White Knuckle Driving.” Xander has been compared to guitar greats like Paul Gilbert and Yngwie Malmsteen. He is also a member of the east coast chapter of James Rivera’s Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

According to the Drusky Entertainment website: “Kamelot is one of metal’s most unique, influential and prestigious acts to come along in decades. The group’s reputation among fans and media alike is marked by enthusiasm as well as esteem, with each of their eight studio albums to date surpassing its predecessor in terms of songwriting and production. As one of the most difficult-to-categorize artists on the metal scene, Kamelot are poised to assault the planet with their most insightful and ambitious project to date, “Poetry for the Poisoned”, proving once again they are Invictus in the metal scene.”
