FROM MTS MANAGEMENT GROUP PRESIDENT, MICHAEL STOVER: “As busy as things have been around here, I completely forgot to celebrate the FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of MTS MANAGEMENT GROUP! It was March 1, 2010, when I “opened the doors.” I really can’t believe it! I’ve been so blessed to do what I do, and work in this amazing industry that has been such a tremendous part of my life. I’ve worked with some incredible artists over the last five years..some of which have been with me from almost the beginning. I’ve learned a lot, grown alot, pulled out a lot of my hair..yeah, that’s the reason I’m bald(ing) lol. But mostly, I’ve enjoyed every single minute of the past 5 years. I’ve met some truly wonderful people in this business, that have been gracious and kind enough to teach me things I didn’t know. Hopefully, I’ve been able to pay that forward, too.”

‘I believe God has a purpose for everyone, a time for everything, and a plan that is far greater than we can understand. If you would have told me that I would be running my own successful music business 5 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed you…not where I came from. But, through His Amazing Grace, I have been able to rise above any limitations I had set for myself. I am so happy to be able to give something back, through the music ministry with our church.”

‘On behalf of the MTS Family, would like to thank all of the music press, radio stations, venues, promoters, booking agents, businesses, organizations, fans, and anyone else I may have missed. We could not survive without your support. To my artists, I would like to give a sincere thank you, for working your butts off to be successful. It doesn’t happen overnight..ever. And, I’m proud to say I work with a group of artists who are willing to put the time and effort in, even when things get hard. Nothing good comes easy. We’ve managed to be the little engine that could, competing against some pretty big boys, whom I admire and strive to be like…eventually, we will get there.”

‘We’ve been honored with radio chart success and industry awards, but mostly, I’m proud of the fact that I have stuck to the mission that got me started: to help independent artists go after their dreams and goals, with integrity, honesty, sincerity, and a work ethic that is second to none. Thanks again, to everyone who has helped me, especially my wife, who has put up with some SERIOUSLY long hours over these years. Behind every good man is an incredible woman..and she has been my strength, my sounding board, and my solace. Here’s to another FIVE YEARS and beyond!!”

MTS Management Group is also home to MTS Records, who have charted multiple Music Row and New Music Weekly radio singles, including 4 Number One NMW hits in 2014.  MTS Management Group and MTS Records have been nominated for the New Music Awards, Nashville Universe Awards (won Manager of the Year, 2014), and the International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) Awards (won Manager of the Year, 2013 and 2014.)  MTS is also home to syndicated country radio show, “Whiskey and Cigarettes.”
