Xander Demos: Metal Guitarist With A Heart Of Gold

PRESS RELEASE:  Metal guitarist extraordinaire, Xander Demos is donating a portion of the sales of his just released CD, Guitarcadia to the animal charity, ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.)  Xander, a long-time animal lover and supporter of animal rights, will be giving $1 from every sale of the CD.  He says, ““I am a huge animal supporter and I have an absolute zero-tolerance policy for animal abuse.   We share this world with these wonderful creatures and they should be treated as such.”  Xander is the owner of several dogs and cats.

Xander’s CD was released on his own Shark Nest label on February 29, 2012, and it has been attracting label and distribution interest since its release.  “We’re soliciting offers from labels as we speak,” says MTS Management’s Michael Stover.  “I think we should have a definite solid deal in place within the next several weeks.”  The CD was mixed and mastered by Cj Snare of the band Firehouse, and it has received critical praise, as well as international airplay for the single, “White Knuckle Driving (WKD.)”

In addition to his own solo band, Xander Demos is also a member of the east coast chapter of James Rivera’s Sabbath Judas Sabbath.  For more information on where to purchase Xander’s CD, please visit www.xanderdemos.com.

Founded in 1866, the ASPCA was the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. Their mission, as stated by founder Henry Bergh, is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” The ASPCA works to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide.
