Mr. Gilley is promoting his return to touring, following a 2009 accident that left him paralyzed. Gilley will tour the US this spring and summer.

The exclusive interview with Mickey Gilley will air this coming Sunday, April 13, 2014 between 11am ET-3pm ET. The film was based on an Esquire magazine article, “The Ballad of the Urban Cowboy,” which was written about the famous bar.
