Weekly Recap And Upcoming MTS Management Artist Appearances 4/28/12

Wow, another week has flown by here at MTS Management. What a week it was! Some chart-topping news, as well as some upcoming concert announcements unfolded. We’ve also had a busy week listening to some amazing new talents, who may just become the newest MTS Management Group artist. Let’s take a look back at this week’s events and a look ahead to next week…

Let’s start with Xander Demos. What can we say about Xander…he’s amazing! This week started off with an appearance on Babylon FM Radio with the irreverant, Christy Miller. Her raucous style of comedy and Xander’s wit made for an unforgettable interview. Radio was good to Xander this week, as stations in France and Norway jumped on the “White Knuckle Driving” bandwagon. The song was also added domestically to Mod’s Metal Mayhem Show and Buzz Radio. Hot off the announcement that Xander is opening for metal supergroup, Adrenaline Mob in May, we announced that Xander will also be opening for another huge band, Symphony X in September. Finally, we partnered with Hair Metal Mansion for a “Signed Xander Demos CD Contest.” For more info on that, visit www.hairbangersradio.ning.com. What’s up next week? On Tuesday, Xander will be taping an interview with Mod’s Metal Mayhem Show. We’ll keep you posted on an air date. We’ve got more exciting Xander Demos news coming up soon…

Doug Briney has been doing things the Cowboy way, up in Alaska this week. This past Monday, Doug’s music was featured in a 30 minute special on Source FM Radio in UK. An interview with them will be scheduled in the near future. Doug was also featured on The Homegrown Station for the 2nd week in a row, competing for a spot on the KDOL radio playlist. You can vote for Doug at www.homegrownstation.com. In chart news, Doug’s single, “More Than Just a Farm” was played on over 160 European/Australian stations this week–making him the #29 international artist on the CMG Radio Top 200 International Artist Chart. The single also charted as the #4 song on the CMG Radio Network country chart–up 5 spots over last week. Finally, “More Than Just a Farm” leaped 10 spots to #15 on the Independent Music Network chart, a fan-voting chart. You can help Doug reach the Top 10 by voting on the country chart at www.independentmusicnetwork.com. Doug rounded out the week with another stellar live performance at Lone Star Steakhouse in Anchorage. Next week: Doug will be interviewed and featured on Sara’s Soundcheck, an independent blog promoting new artists. That feature is scheduled for publication on Saturday, May 5th.

Bryan Cole and his single, “Love Doesn’t Live Here” posted another great week on the radio charts. The song came in at #28 on the New Music Weekly Chart, up 2 spots. It also rebounded on the Music Row chart, up 10 places to #144. We were also thrilled to learn of the #1 CMG Radio Network status of the single, with Bryan taking the #1 spot on CMG’s International Artist Top 200 chart. Quite an accomplishment! Finally, Bryan finished off the week with an incredible acoustic show at Disalvo’s Station in Latrobe, PA. NEXT WEEK: Bryan will be performing the national anthem for the WFL’s Pittsburgh Passion on Saturday, May 5th.
