Weekly Recap and This Week’s MTS Artist Appearances 3/25/12

This is the first of our Weekly Recap and MTS Artist Appearances posts.  In these posts, we will be giving you a look back at the events from this past week, as well as a look ahead at what our artists are up to this week.  Hope you enjoy it!


Country Artist, Bryan Cole continued his impressive run at radio with his current single, “Love Doesn’t Live Here” climbing to #38 NMW and #134 Music Row.   The single enjoyed tremendous international play this week too, with more than 180 stations playing it.   Drum tracks for his upcoming EP release, “Pride” were recorded on Monday, and his two tapings of Cornerstone TV’s “His Place” aired this past Tuesday and Thursday.  Bryan capped off the week with a concert in Avella, PA.  This week, Bryan will continue work on his EP, and he will be performing a solo, acoustic show in Latrobe, PA.  For more information, please visit www.bryancolemusic.com.

Metal shred guitarist, Xander Demos is riding the wave of his current CD, “Guitarcadia” and single, “White Knuckle Driving (WKD.)”  Being promoted internationally by Cameron Tilbury Publicity, the single was picked up by radio in Norway, Russia, Australia, UK, and the Netherlands.  Xander appeared on Toxic Radio on Tuesday, Infernal Rock Radio on Thursday, and he taped an interview for later airing with Babylon FM on Saturday.  Tonight, Xander will be a guest on Knight Rider Radio.  Check www.xanderdemos.com for more information.

Alaskan Cowboy, Doug Briney was added to several radio outlets this week, as his single and video for “More Than Just a Farm” debuted at #1 on the Only Lyrics Music Video Chart.  The single is also climbing several indie airplay charts: #16 Independent Music Network and #23 CMG Radio Network.  Enjoying the initial radio play that “Farm” has been receiving, Doug performed a very successful live show in Anchorage, AK this past Friday.  This week, Doug is taping an interview with Gemrico radio, and he will be performing 2 live concerts-one on Friday in Anchorage, AK, and one on Saturday in Gridwood, AK.
